Sega Saturn Modchip

Important Note: You must be very careful when inserting the ribbon cable into the modchip connector as well as when you are inserting the modchip into the Sega Saturn motherboard. The chip is very delicate and if you apply to much pressure or bend the chip to much it will break connections and will not work! You will get two green cubes saying checking disk format or it will read all CDs as audio at the CD player screen. A few people sent chips back as "defective" but they were not and this is what seemed to happen. This can easily be avoided by being very careful with the chip and try to support the entire chip while inserting the ribbon cable. It is possible for a chip to be defective from time to time and if this is the case you can get a refund / replacement.
The Sega Saturn Modchip installation service is available for those who already have a Saturn system but do not wish to tamper with the insides of their console. The price of the service includes, the modchip, installation of the modchip, game testing, return shipping of the system to you and a Demo copy of Sonic Xtreme to demonstrate the system is working once you recieve it. These are Official Sega Saturn controllers, they are very hard to find on there own and most people are forced to settle for a 3rd party controller. These controllers are used (I have never found a place that sells them new), but they are in very good cosmetic condition and work well considering the age of the console. If you are a collector, or just someone who must have everything "Officially made by Sega" then these are a must. These controllers are revered by most gamers as the best 2D controller ever made. Pick them up while they are still available as re-stocking availability is uncertain.

These are Official 3D Sega Saturn controllers, they are more common to find than the regular official controller and can even sometimes be found new still in box. This one however is used, but still in great shape!
