I ordered a "21 Pin Replacement Lens Cable" that is advertised as "completely compatible with the modchips above". Unfortunately, the cable is shorter than the original and is not long enough to use in conjunction with a mod chip. I'm not even sure if it will reach without the modchip installed.

Brad: The issue was an error on my part. The item description did not specify that this ribbon cable was not long enough to work in the 64pin Model 2 Saturn system. I have contacted you in order to make arrangements for a refund of your purchase.

Big thanks to you Brad. Took me about 15 min to install the chip. I only had 2 points to solder (The 2 wires were already soldered onto the chip which was a plus)Of course I used the A+B method so I didn't need the other wire.Ans as Brad and many others also point out , You'll prob need to file the side of the mod chip as to make it easier to slide into the slot. Everything went well and im now playing Nights into Dreams.Thanks again Brad for the great service and product.

I installed a chip in my 64 pin Saturn yesterday, and it's working flawlessly. Soldering two points was easy; the hardest part was bending the metal support-structure (in the Saturn) a few mm out of the way so that the chip would fit in place. Overall, it took less than 3 minutes to get my Saturn playing backups. Well worth the purchase!

Yes Brad! Thank you very much, just clocking in to give everyone my results with a Model 2 64 Pin saturn. Chip works fine, although opening and closing the lid is required most of the time. Also, I've got good news for Action Replay 4M Plus owners! I've discovered a way to get this cart working with this chip and model saturn. Usually, when you go to boot a game it freezes at the "Loading" screen. Well simply open and close the lid of the saturn (as you would normally without the cart) leave the cd to start spinning again for a few seconds then hit the RESET button on your saturn. Try booting a game through your action replay 4m plus and this time 9/10 times it works :D:D:D:D. If anyone else could test this and confirm that they have got it working don't be afraid to drop me an email with your results or any questions. Thanks again Brad!

I had a sega saturn that while being modified the cd-rom was ruined, I was wondering if there was some kind of payment method I could come up with towards a pre-modified saturn and the good motherboard from my old one. Since I have purchased another Saturn, and would like to get this modded, but will not do the soldering myself. Is there anything you could do for me?
